This program will help build muscles, promote flexibility, increase endurance, and improve balance.   Please bring light weights, water, and a towel.  Wear comfortable clothes along with sneakers and socks.  Open to men and women.  Free.  Come get healthy with us.

Preschool Storytime

Stories. crafts, songs and fun.  Open to children ages 3 – 5, their parents and caregivers.  Must sign up in the library or email Sonja to sign up.  Open to the public.  Free.

Catch Your Dreams Creativity Workshop

Do you have a dream that you would dearly love to pursue, but you aren’t sure how?  Have you made a start, and gotten stuck?  This workshop will show you how to plan to achieve your goals, and help you to maintain momentum.  It’s suitable for writers, artists, poets, singers, dancers, anyone with any creative dream. Based on the book, Wishcraft, by Barbara Sher.  The workshop is free, but participants will be requested to purchase the book.  Class is limited to ten participants.  Please sign up via email, crinehart@fclspa.org, or at the library.

Writer’s Workshop

Do you have a dream to be a writer? Have you begun to work, and gotten stuck? Are you sailing along with your work, and would like advice and feedback from like-minded writers?  This workshop will help you achieve your writing dreams.  Conducted partly in the library, and partly via email, this group is just starting, and we expect great support, great camraderie, and eventually, great work to follow!  Open to the public.  Free. Open Studio For Arts and Crafts
Feb 28 @ 1:30 pm – 4:00 pm

This workshop focuses on your projects, in your own way and in your own time.  You can do anything you can bring the setup for – materials and supplies.  You will receive support and help from students and teacher, and learn how to work more creatively and effectively toward your own goals.  Open to the public, but please sign on in the library with subject (if possible) and which form of art you are pursuing.

Current students are working in watercolor, fabric arts, and drawing.  Demonstration classes have been held in papermaking, book arts, tile arts, food art, floral art and watercolor.  If enough students show an interest, demonstration classes in a particular medium will be added.
